Host Transfer Procedure

This section outlines the steps for transferring a host from one server to another. Be sure that the new server meets CygNet Software operating system and hardware specifications.

Assumptions

The new server will run the same version of CygNet as the old server.
The new server will run the same CygNet components as the old server.
The new server contains no CygNet Software (services, applications, libraries).
The IP address of the old server will be transferred to the new server.
